Giving Tuesday 2020

Every year, Giving Tuesday follows other shopping days such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, except people are encouraged to donate to their favorite nonprofit organizations.

Participate in Giving Tuesday this year by supporting the DC Chapter of the Christ Child Society!

With the support of our members and friends, CCS provides educational, emotional and material assistance to children through volunteer and professional programs in the DC area.

All donations will go towards our Annual Appeal. No act of generosity is too small to make a difference.

Examples of where your donation goes:

$10 purchases a board book to include in a layette.

$15 gives a newborn baby safe sleep in a sleep sack.

$25 provides a newborn with 24 pieces of clothing.

$50 purchases and safely delivers a case of diapers and wipes for a new baby.

$100 provides a social worker with books to use for a virtual book club.

$150 provides a family with a week's worth of groceries.

$300 purchases a Chromebook for a child so that they can succeed in a remote learning environment.

$500 provides supplies for a socially distant Girls on the Rise event.
